Aglais urticae

NL: Kleine vos - vleugelschubben
EN: Small Tortoiseshell - wing scales
DE: Kleiner Fuchs - Flügelschuppen
FR: Petite tortue, Vanesse de l'ortie - échelles d'aile

During summer I found a dead but intact specimen of Aglais urticae. This image is taken at home (studio-work) with my new Canon MP-E65 to experiment with high magnifications. This image taken at 5:1 Actual size of the area covered by the image: 4.5 mm x 3 mm (no crop !). Still have to practice with the new lense but i like this result.
