Hemimycena candida - top view

Hemimycena candida (NL: Smeerwortelmycena / EN: Hemimycena candida / DE: Beinwell-Scheinhelmling, Rasiger Scheinhelmling / FR: Mycène des consoudes). Hemimycena is a genus of fungi in the family Mycenaceae.
The same group as in yesterdays post but in top view in stead of side view. More info on the species: see there.
In both images the extreme contrast between the (sunlit) pure white fungi and the (shaded) background made correct exposure extremely difficult. To see some structure in the fungi I had to measure the light on the white surface. As a result the shaded background turned almost black.

note: to see an image of this group of fungi in its environment: see my blog dedicated to fungi: http://diversitasnaturae3.wordpress.com/2012/10/07/hemimycena-candida/
