Textures and colors of ice #5

Posted by
Johan Dierckx (Wijnegem, Belgium) on 19 February 2012 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

Like in most parts of Europe, winter had been very cold lately. On one day only I had the courage to go outside with my camera to make some "winter-images". After wiping away the snow on the little lake in the park nearby, I discovered some marvellous textures and colours in the ice. I decided to give this series a square crop. Probably I will have them printed and will give them a place in my living-room during next winter...
