Like in most parts of Europe, winter has been very cold lately. On one day only I had the courage to go outside with my camera to make some "winter-images". After wiping away the snow on the little lake in the park nearby, I discovered some marvellous textures and colours in the ice. I decided to give this series a square crop. Probably I will have them printed and will give them a place in my living-room during next winter...

@christine: Een goed idee maar dan kom ik in de problemen met de vierkante uitsnede (en de reeks hou ik graag vierkant) en vooral dan de rest van de compositie die dan zou moeten inboeten. Bovendien lijkt me de onscherpte in de voorgrond een dimentie van "diepte" aan de foto te geven. Toch leuk dat je nadenkt over deze foto ... Groetjes !
