Parasola conopilus

Posted by

Parasola conopilus (syn: Psathyrella conopilus) (NL: Langsteelfranjehoed / EN: Conical Brittlestem / DE: Steifstieliger Kegelhutfaserling, Huthaarfaserling / FR: Psathyrelle conique).
The same species as in previous post so for more info on the species: see yesterday. The color of the cap changes markedly as it dries out. In this image that specific feature can be seen in the uppermost specimen. Besides the color change in the biggest specimen I particularly liked the composition of this group of 4. That's why I decided to make a few more images on this group - this one came out as best.

Aubélia from Kortrijk, Belgium

Lia from Zwolle, Netherlands
