Orchis x spuria is the natural hybrid between Orchis anthropophora and Orchis militaris. All hybrids are different: they have some characteristics from both parents: here you can see the vibrant pink / purple colours of O.militaris, and the tiny human figures of O. anthropophora. Did you notice the saluting soldier ?
