Posted by

For the first time since years we had a real white Christmas in Belgium. Late in the afternoon we made a little walk at my hometown park.

@Veronique: Thank you very much, Veronique.

anne from zwolle, Netherlands

apart perspectief, mooi licht en leuke doorkijk....

4 Jan 2011 12:36pm

Marilla from Turku, Finland

Magnificent view! I like the effect and the composition.

@Marilla: I'm just not sure about the deformations ... isn't it too much ?

myky from London, Canada

Nicely done...the light is beautiful!

@myky: Late afternoon sunlight ... my favorite: always the last hour before sunset .... the golden-hour for me. Thanks for your comment myky.

Véro from Savoie, France

i like the light and the shadows on this beautiful church , but a bit too deformed by using a 10 mm lens according to me.
Happy New Year Johan !

@Véro: I'm just getting to know this lens and the deformation is bothering me a lot, but I think it can give sometimes some nice effects too. I agree the deformation here is a bit too much for the scene. On the other hand my eye is everytime led by the strange lines to the essential part of the image. That is why I decided to post it anyway. I'm learning the most out of experiments.
Happy New Year for you too, Véro ! Warm Greetz !
