Amanita muscaria #2

Posted by
Johan Dierckx (Wijnegem, Belgium) on 24 October 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Amanita muscaria (Vliegenzwam (BE) / Fly agaric (EN) / Fliegenpilz (DE) / Amanite tue-mouches (FR)). (More info on the species: see yesterdays portrait). Today a more "abstract" way of photographing this spiecies. The sunlight reflected on the cap of the specimen in the front, providing a red/orange light at the gills of the upper-specimen. Colors of autumn !

and this one is uttermost sensual !!

@Veronique: Two different ways of making images out of a mushroom ... The first is for determination, this one is more interesting as an image. Tomorrow still a more abstract out of the species :-) Greetz !!!

Marleen from Doesburg, Netherlands

Groetjes !
