Julie Brown from Indianapolis, United States

You are good at finding the rare species, Johan. I like the depth of field, light, and the saturated colors, and of course the lovely background. You put the focal point right where it needed to be.

@Julie Brown: Carefully plan trips, study of habitats where these species live etc etc... it is al part of the preparation to be succesful in finding them. And then of course enough luck ... And I realy start enjoying searching butterflies and making images of them. :-)

♏arleen from Netherlands

Loner from Wörgl, Austria

3 Aug 2010 8:10pm

@Loner: For me it's a pleasure doing this. It is my opinion that more knowledge about a species can lead to more apreciation (and lets hope more protection...). A correct determination is the beginning and then every detail counts ... Have a nice evening, Sonja !
