Orchis quadripunctata is a small orchid, growing on calcareous substrates like short grassland and garigue. Quadripunctata means "4 dots", an allusion on the spotted base on the lip. 2 dots usually can be found on the lip base, 2 others are hidden in the spur entrance. The species can be found in Central and Western Mediterranean.
