Sclerotinia tuberosa

Posted by
Johan Dierckx (Wijnegem, Belgium) on 1 April 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Dear friends, blog-followers or ocasional visitors,
My photo gear is packed for a phototrip to Crete. So I'm posting some images from last year (about the same period) for a little while. (No mosses anymore ...)
I'm not giving any further explanation on these images, but the title is the scientific name of the species so for those who are interested - see Google :-)

Please DO comment these images, but I apologize for the delayed answers as I'm leaving on April 4. I hope to catch up again about 18 april. Meanwhile I hope you can enjoy this "older" work!

I know you'll love Crete, and come back with many stunning shots. From photos I've seen it's among the most beautiful areas there are. Have a good, & safe trip.

I can't wait to see your photos from Crete, I bet they will be wonderful. Tomorrow.. I have my new moss up. It was scheduled for today but then I realized that it is April Fools Day in the US. These little cups you have in your photo.. perfect detail. What would have been even better is little drops of water in them. Next time take a water bottle and give them a drink ;)
