Announcing spring

Winter lasts long this year in Belgium... but there is hope ... Winterbuds are ready to burst. This one is from Euonymus europeaeus (Wilde kardinaalsmuts in het Nederlands), one of the first plants here to spread its leaves in spring. It won't be long now ...
